Alligators are common residents of golf courses across the United States, especially in the state of Florida. Apart from its pure love for the sport of golf, the Sunshine State is also home to nearly 1.3 million reptiles. While it may be common for human beings to see Gators across the state, a new video from a Florida golf course can reignite fear among members of the club.

In a viral video that has been swirling around social media, a gigantic Gator can be seen bending the Aluminium fence just through his enormous jaw strength. Many on the internet claim the reptile in the video to be an American Alligator, which boasts a bite force of over 2,000 pounds per square inch- the fifth – the strongest in the animal kingdom.

After bending the Aluminium bar, the Alligator then got stuck in the little space between the fences. In the clip, an employee comes to help the Gator to get out of the position quickly. The video was shot by a worker at the golf course. “We were trying to dig holes for it to go under before it decided to go through the fence”, an employee named Zach told to the Jam News.

He also added that it was a “brand new fence” which they installed “to keep trespassers out and keep the safety of people walking”. Well, they may need to reconsider their deal with the Aluminium manufacturers. Thankfully, nobody but the fence was injured in the incident.

Nonetheless, the jaw-dropping strength of the American Alligator was put to display at the Florida private club and left everyone mesmerized. Perhaps, golfers need to be more cautious during their next encounter with an alligator on the golf course.
